MilwaukeeDJSite.com was created to help an experienced DJ in Milwaukee get exposure online. This website was made w/ Dreamweaver and incorporates DJ Intelligence.

After beginning the process of creating his own site, (which many DJs do), this DJ came to the realization that it was not as easy as he had thought to build an appealing site which gave him a professional image and worst of all, the challenge of getting his site to be competitive with other relevant results for Milwaukee + DJ or anything similar was very difficult. He needed exposure online ASAP and his friend, who also had me design a site a couple years prior, recommended my services.

The challenge for me as a designer and Internet Marketer, was that the DJ originally wanted me to help him with the site he had already started building. That site was Flash however and Flash sites are SEO Suicide. I recommended he keep working with his own site and allow me to build a new site, (static HTML), which would be a parallel source of web advertising.

He would want to link to his Flash site, so visitors could see his site also. Since the site I was creating would be the referring site, the transition would need to convey synergy. I utilized the most predominant colors and graphics from his original site, placed into a clean and flowing user-friendly (and search engine friendly), layout. You'll notice the DJs own logo and splashes of bright red are carried over from his Flash site. Going forward, the DJ will focus his external marketing efforts on promoting the Flash site he built while allowing the HTML Version I built, do the heavy lifting at search engines.
